The Run to the Sun is one of Valley Isle Road Runners' signature events. It is a VERY difficult and COSTLY event to organize and direct. In the past we this event has not been able to cover its costs even with the maximum number of runners. Due to the event's uniqueness and the scenic beauty of the race coure, Valley Isle Road Runners (VIRR) and Hawaii Ultra Running Team (HURT) want to keep this event alive indefinitely for everyone to enjoy. In order to do this we need YOUR HELP! This event requires the help of many volunteers to assist with all aspects of the race and generous donations from our supporters. If you are interested in helping, please contact Bram via e-mail . MAHALO to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and participants!
